Here you have it, the most basic pair of shoes EVER! The Nike Roshe Black and White is the most plain colorway of the basic mesh “runner”.
There’s not a ton to say about these that I haven’t said in previous Roshe articles. These don’t have a BR style upper, fancy NM tuning on the sole or crazy graphics, however I think these are my favorite Roshes!
The plain black colorway makes these perfect to throw on when I’m not really trying to worry about what shoes I have on, but still want to be comfortable and stylish. These fit true to size and can theoretically be worn without socks, although I usually opt for no-show socks with Roshes. You can stumble into your closet and fall back out with a perfect fit with these.
I need about 2 more pairs of this colorway to beat up ASAP! At the end of the day, you can’t really hate on the Nike Roshe Black and White unless you aren’t a fan of Roshes to begin with – the shoe is too simple and looks too good on foot!
How Are The Materials?
These are made out of mesh. The shoe has a good quality build, and it’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. Thus, ultra premium materials might be out of place on a shoe like this. When copping this colorway, I wouldn’t even take material quality into account.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Roshe Black and White fits true to size and is very comfortable. The midsole might be no frills, but it provides solid support. I’d advise against sizing down, as your toes will start to become weirdly obvious sticking out of the front of the mesh.
